Mattia en de anderen

Om Mattia en de anderen

Some time after the suicide of their daughter Mattia, Katja Bosch and Jan-Peter Muilwijk made paintings about the hole that her suicide had created in their lives. These paintings focused on grief, but also hope and trust in a ‘new’ existence.

The catalogue designed for this exhibition included explanatory texts about the origin of the work, as well as diary notations of Mattia. This included quotes and concepts from thinkers and poets on sorrow, love and hope. With this in mind, the brochure was calm and delicate, but also filled with potential and light, to celebrate, honor and remember the sensitive topic of the exhibition.
